Responsibilities
Work autonomously as part of a project team
Provide oversight for release deployment
Create and manage project documentation including contract deliverables, change management plans, etc
Partner with program leads to create and deliver weekly and monthly status updates
Lead, plan, execute, and control project schedule and monitor tasks to ensure on time delivery
Leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans and deliverables meet intent
Coordinate with application and technical teams to determine requirements for modernization efforts
Plan, lead, facilitate, track, communicate, and complete internal deployment activities for the project
Develop solutions to technical issues
Proactively identify potential risks/issues impacting timelines
Identify ways to improve and streamline business processes
Support the management of required project artifacts consistent with project management methodology
Facilitate communication between the various work streams, the customer and other functional Leads when necessary
Report on project status clearly, consistently, and reliably to program leadership and team members
Coordinate and run meetings with the project team and the customer
Qualification
Required
10 years in IT and/or software development industry
10 years of PM experience in infrastructure project management
Knowledge of IT infrastructure projects
Knowledge of Microsoft Project
Clear understanding of Agile software development methodology and key best practices
Strong analytical, problem solving and planning skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
BS in a technology or related field and 8 years of prior relevant experience
Ability to obtain an MBI clearance
