Responsibilities

In accordance with professional standards of care and adhering to corporate philosophy of OSFMG, the advanced practice nurse/physician assistant shall be responsible for: Providing high quality patient care to the patients of OSF
Providing such professional Advanced Practice services
Maintaining the consistency and quality of all services provided to the Practice and its patients
Maintaining full and current patient medical records, including reports of all examinations, procedures, and other services performed by Provider or other support staff
Exercising diligence in assisting the Ministry CEO in keeping costs of the Practice to a minimum while maintaining a high level of quality care for patients
Providing a truly personalized, patient-centric experience to patients of the Practice and the OSF Hospital aligned to the patient's preferences, goals and needs

Qualification

Primary care experienceUrgent care experienceProcedural skillsPediatrics experienceCommunity engagement

Required

Primary experiences through either primary care, urgent care, or general pediatrics
Experiences in specialty rotations through other service lines for practical experience and exposure
Focus on care in rural and medically undeserved practices in primary care, with opportunities to participate in community medical fairs
Procedural experiences include suturing, incision and drainage, splinting, foreign body removal, and more
