Responsibilities
Perform a variety of product tests to ensure compliance with customers and company quality requirements
Gather samples and prepare them according to listed specifications for testing
Conduct physical and mechanical tests on samples and enter test data results accurately into the designated systems
Operate laboratory equipment necessary to support testing needs
Provide feedback to production, process engineering, and quality engineering teams
Collaborate with other departments such as planning, production, engineering, customer service, and shipping to ensure effective communication and timely delivery of materials and product development information
Take proactive measures to prevent nonconformance in product, process, and quality systems
Communicate with management regarding significant risks to product quality, employee safety, or customer satisfaction
Maintain a clean and orderly work area, following safety protocols and using required PPE
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work well both independently and with others
Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English to interpret setup sheets, SOPs, and communicate effectively
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Basic computer and data entry skills
Comfortable with physical requirements such as standing, bending, and occasionally lifting
Preferred
Previous manufacturing lab experience is highly desired
