Responsibilities

Provide structural inspections of reinforced concrete; structural steel welding and bolting, structural masonry; spray-applied fireproofing

Provide grading observations; compaction testing on soils, aggregates, and asphalt

Document project grading activities

Provide sampling and Quality Control of concrete, rebar, shotcrete; mortar and/or grout

Report preparation of special inspections per CBC and in accordance with approved project documents

Provide as needed support to the Project Manager to ensure the approved testing program is fulfil based on the construction schedule and sequencing pertaining to this work

Maintain detailed documentation of inspection reports, laboratory testing reports and related project documents (including but not limited to responses to RFI, test results from materials and certification of materials; amended documents, deferred approvals, welding procedures; approved concrete mix designs, etc.)

AWS Certified Welding Inspector License is a plus

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Excellent computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, etc

Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate clearly with coworkers, clients, consultants, contractors, and potential clients
