Responsibilities
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents
Appear at court hearings, depositions, and mediations
Independently manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution, while collaborating with a broader team
Communicate directly with clients and provide regular case status updates
Work closely with attorneys across offices and practice groups to support litigation strategy and client needs
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active California Bar membership in good standing
8+ years of experience in insurance defense, premises liability, catastrophic loss, or general liability litigation
Trial experience and dispositive motion practice experience required
Strong analytical, written, and oral advocacy skills
Preferred
Legal project management experience is a plus
