Prospect & CRM Manager
Come Near is a nonprofit organization focused on innovative outreach and relationship-building to meet real needs with truth and compassion. The Prospect & CRM Manager will oversee the strategic execution and administration of development functions, including data management processes, prospect research, and management responsibilities to support the organization's fundraising goals.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary administrator for Come Near’s CRM
Enter commitments and pledges into database. Produce all gift and commitment acknowledgments including receipts, thank you letters and pledge forms
Oversee Come Near’s CRM strategy, daily management, reporting functions, and ensure colleagues within and outside Investor Relations are trained as necessary
Manage and perform routine database hygiene and maintenance
Lead data quality, data extraction, and analytics efforts
Initiate and deliver to the front-line fundraising team comprehensive prospect research and prospect management strategies
Create and maintain a prospect management system to qualify prospects and assign to front-line fundraising team portfolios. Manage the flow of prospects in and out of portfolios as well as the entire prospect management pipeline
Conceive, implement, and manage processes that prioritize the effective use of data in support of the Investor Relations team’s fundraising goals, including database management, gift processing, reporting and dashboards, document management, and financial processing and reconciliation
Serve as the lead contact for our CRM partner as well as our research partners like Altrata. Ensure these services are leveraged to the highest degree for team success
Implement tracking systems to manage and refine donor portfolios throughout the fiscal year, adhering to all business practices for reporting information
Generate reports of gifts and pledges for use in reporting to organizational leadership and to outside entities as appropriate
Liaise with the Finance department to reconcile gift deposits and support regular financial projections and forecasting
Collaborate with Come Near’s staff where needed to advance the organization’s mission and vision
Attend team and organizational meetings, activities, and events as required

Qualification
Required
5+ years' experience serving as administrator of a CRM system(s)
5+ years' experience managing databases and/or constituent information systems, adhering to all ethical standards appropriate for the role
Experience in a nonprofit or fundraising organization, including an understanding of the essence and science of donor moves management
Experience in prospect research and prospect systems management
Experience in creating high quality reports for executive leadership team and board members
Ability to take initiative, set goals and work independently
Extremely organized with impeccable accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to complete tasks quickly, accurately, and efficiently
A track record of preparing and presenting reports to internal teams. Experience intuiting reports to inform next steps and strategy is a plus
Effective and clear communication skills, both verbally and in written form
Proficient computing, filing, and organizational skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 software
Unwavering ability to maintain strict confidentiality concerning all professional matters, especially donor communications and private information
Skilled at remaining flexible and prioritizing tasks to complete projects and meet competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Able to work a flexible schedule that may occasionally include evenings and weekends. Some remote work allowable in this position
Preferred
Working knowledge of nonprofit accounting and tax rules governing donation recognition and credit
