Responsibilities
Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including asset digitization, automated work orders, and maintenance data analysis
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial automation systems, including PLCs, databases, and industrial communication networks
Diagnose and repair electrical and control system issues involving control cabinets, VFDs, PID controllers, pumps, heaters, valves, and instrumentation loops
Configure, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and ensure seamless integration with PLC and PC-based data acquisition systems
Serve as the automation subject matter expert, mentoring lab engineers and technicians to strengthen electrical and automation troubleshooting capabilities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of industrial automation maintenance experience
Proven proficiency programming and troubleshooting Siemens S7-1200/1500 (TIA Portal) and Rockwell Micro800 (Connected Components Workbench) PLCs
Experience implementing or working with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), with basic knowledge of MySQL or similar databases
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control loop diagrams, with hands-on experience in VFDs, PID control, and sensor calibration
Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus (TCP/RTU), CAN bus, and Profibus, along with a continuous improvement mindset
Preferred
Experience with Structured Text, Python, or C++ for advanced automation or data processing
Proficiency with EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical
Exposure to Linux-based embedded controllers or edge gateways
