Responsibilities
Work closely with UC Blue Ash College academic departments and offices to support their programs and services
Support the administrative needs of departmental faculty and staff
Coordinate academic department functions as needed, for example, inputting schedules, taking meeting minutes, preparing for events, maintaining websites, as well as helping with curriculum changes, course permissions, programming offered by departments, accreditation preparation and follow up, and selective admissions processes
Prepare and edit data, reports, and publication materials
Perform searching, reporting, and analysis requests within academic databases
Assist in the administration and operational activities of the Dean’s administrative suite
Prepare contracts; initiate, approve and monitor expenditures; prepare budget requests and expense reports
Act as liaison to internal departments, external entities, and community organizations
Implement policies and procedures
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
Show attention to detail and have strong organizational skills
Perform other related duties based on needs of the college
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement
Three (3) years experience in program development or business administration
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
Show attention to detail and have strong organizational skills
Preferred
Administrative support experience in a healthcare field
Experience working in a higher education institution and/or with college students
Experience managing platforms including the suite of Microsoft services, student information systems, query systems, etc
