Responsibilities
Steward the development of the company’s long-term strategy and associated priorities
Connect each business unit to those priorities, exploring white space opportunities for growth
Connect the dots across businesses to accelerate existing revenue streams
Support new growth initiatives and enable execution of key strategic priorities
Operate within a nimble team dedicated to top priority strategic initiatives with executive leadership visibility
Partner closely with business stakeholders across core pharmacy businesses
Utilize market insights alongside CVS-focused expertise to help chart the path forward for a vertically integrated health care company
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in a dynamic, fast-moving profession; related experience within management consulting, corporate development, financial analysis, public policy, product development, mergers and acquisitions, or similar role(s)
Expertise in storyboarding and logically framing presentations, both in written deliverables and in facilitating live discussions
Executive presence: demonstrated ability to actively listen, empathize, and communicate effectively
Comfort in ambiguity; demonstrated ability to simplify complex problems and concepts
Comfort working in a matrixed environment and in managing competing priorities; demonstrated ability to juggle concurrent projects and prioritize effectively
Ability to 'manage up', influencing internal and external partners, often more senior in job title
Preferred
Working knowledge of payor, provider, and product segments of the healthcare and pharmacy industry
Growth mindset and commitment to deepening expertise across the healthcare industry
Demonstrated ability developing analysis, presentations, and supporting material to successfully implement strategy or change management initiatives
Experience building and evaluating financial models
