The role involves ensuring efficient management of administrative and logistics processes, supporting the Warehouse Supervisor, and enhancing customer service while coordinating with suppliers and the logistics team.

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Warehouse Supervisor, including managing documentation related to food inventory and distribution
Accurately perform inventory entries, ensuring that all food products are tracked and compliant with safety standards
Input data in Tany’s inventory and accounting software – SAP Business One – related to the reception, exit, transfer, cancellation, and any other process impacting warehouse operations
Identify, organize, analyze, and present key data for decision-making and enhancement of processes and results within the logistics department
Review incoming invoices related to food products for accuracy and completeness, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company policies and food safety regulations
Deliver exceptional customer service to both phone and walk-in customers, addressing inquiries related to food orders, delivery schedules, and product availability
Coordinate shipments with trucking companies, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of food products while adhering to temperature control and safety requirements
Provide training or coordinate trainings for fellow team members on key areas of development, such as the use of Information Technology, English speaking and writing, industrial safety, leadership, assertive communication, among other possible areas of individual and collective growth
Identify opportunities for Tany Foods to engage in networks within the logistics community that may contribute to exchanging best practices, staying current, and building partnerships
Contribute to Tany’s social mission by identifying and helping materialize opportunities for the organization’s community outreach, especially in the education and human development sectors
Perform any other task that will contribute to developing, strengthening, improving, and streamlining any logistics process that will impact the well-being, efficiency, productivity and success of the department, its team members and the company as a whole
Qualification
Required
Bilingual in Spanish and English
Experience in administrative support
Knowledge of inventory management
Proficiency in data input and analysis
Familiarity with SAP Business One or similar inventory/accounting software
Ability to review invoices for accuracy and compliance
Strong customer service skills
Experience in coordinating shipments
Ability to provide training and support to team members
Skills in network building within the logistics community
Commitment to community outreach and social mission
Ability to perform tasks that improve logistics processes
