Responsibilities
Develop, optimize, and maintain complex Alteryx workflows and macros focused on server execution
Work on Alteryx Server configuration, user roles, permissions, scheduling, and performance monitoring
Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate Alteryx with databases, APIs, and cloud platforms
Troubleshoot and resolve workflow errors on server environments
Deploy workflows from Designer to Server with best practices around versioning and documentation
Set up and manage gallery permissions, collections, and workflows for business users
Work with IT/Security teams to ensure compliance and auditability of Alteryx solutions
Document processes, workflows, and server architecture clearly and concisely
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in Alteryx Designer with strong exposure to Alteryx Server
Deep understanding of server-side operations: deployment, scheduling, user management, and error handling
Proficiency in working with SQL and connecting Alteryx to databases like SQL Server, Snowflake, or Oracle
Familiarity with API integrations and scripting tools (e.g., Python or R in Alteryx)
Solid understanding of data governance, privacy, and security in enterprise environments
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
Experience with version control tools like Git is a plus
