Electronics Technician II
The NC Department of Adult Correction is one of the largest state agencies responsible for safeguarding and preserving lives and property. They are seeking a Regional Maintenance Electronics Technician to perform construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of electronics systems, equipment, and machinery.

Responsibilities
Have journeyman level experience in the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of electronics systems, equipment, and machinery
Be able to work independently to complete work assignments received by a supervisor
Read and interpret blueprints
Perform other assigned duties
Qualification
Required
Journeyman level experience in the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of electronics systems, equipment, and machinery
Ability to work independently to complete work assignments received by a supervisor
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Associate's degree in electronics from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of progressive experience in the repair and maintenance of complex electronic systems including some responsibility for the design of electronic apparatus; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
Preferred
Demonstrated experience in the installation, programming, testing, and troubleshooting of head end control equipment used with class A loop building fire alarm life safety systems, internet and phone communication systems, tool control systems, video surveillance systems, electronic and pneumatic security control systems, perimeter security systems, AND / OR building automation systems
Demonstrated experience in the installation of low voltage conduit and circuitry for class A loop building fire alarm life safety systems, internet and phone communication systems, tool control systems, video surveillance systems, electronic and pneumatic security control systems, perimeter security systems, AND / OR building automation systems
Demonstrated experience with standard test equipment to diagnose electronic components
Demonstrated experience reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
