Responsibilities
Assist with entering commitments and obligations into the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS) including purchase orders reimbursable agreements, and contract modifications
Assist with querying for budget analyses and breakdowns; supports preparation, updates to budget data calls and prepare responses
Assist in coordinating and tracking all costs associated with travel authorizations and vouchers to ensure accurate data
Assist in coordinating and tracking costs associated with external training requests and invoices
Assist in compiling and communicating
Financial Tracking
Commitments, Obligations, Unobligated Balances, Accruals
Reconciling planned award amounts and actual award amount for each COPS Award Program
Assist in the deobligation and sometimes reobligation of financial instruments including grant awards as well as contracts
Support for various monthly and quarterly reporting
Assist in financial reconciliation activities
Qualification
Required
2+ years of recent relevant experience with an emphasis on budget and financial reporting
Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Office, Project, Teams)
Excellent written and oral communication
