$60K/yr - $85K/yrMonona Plumbing & Fire Protection is looking to add an Entry-Level Designer for their Fire Protection Division. This role involves assisting with the layout, design, and implementation of water-based fire protection systems, with training provided by the experienced design team.

Responsibilities
Review project specifications and requirements with the design team
Utilize design software to create sprinkler system layouts
Utilize Software to perform hydraulic calculations
Create material submittal packets and organizes submittals
Assist Designers with field surveys and coordination
Utilize design software to draft installation drawings and material lists
Completes record drawings for finished installations
Work with a team of Project Managers and Designers to learn the industry
Qualification
Required
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Basic mechanical understanding or aptitude
Ability to learn and apply understanding
Time management skills
Communication and collaboration skills
Problem Solving skills and aptitude
Preferred
Interests/experience in Engineering
Interests/experience in Product Design
Interests/experience in 3-D Design
Interests/experience in Mechanical Design
