Responsibilities
Participate in designing, implement, deploying, and maintaining on-premise SDLC system infrastructure and services
Research, experiment, and evaluate innovative technologies to enhance and streamline current processes and services with automation
Measure, monitor, and optimize service performance and availability to meet defined SLA/SLO goals
Implement and document operational workflows and security controls
Troubleshoot service incidents and handle service requests
Participate in compliance and certification audits (ISO, SOC2, etc.)
Qualification
Required
5+ years of practical experience in SRE/DevOps/Infrastructure/Systems Engineer roles
Strong hands-on expertise in: VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter; OpenStack and its services (Nova, Neutron, Cinder etc); Software-defined storage (Ceph) and SAN/NAS storage solutions
Experience configuring physical servers, network and storage appliances (e.g., Dell, SuperMicro, PureStorage etc.) and data center operations
Deep understanding and hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker. Kubernetes)
Solid understanding of networking (VLANs, VPN, DNS, routing, firewalls, load balancers)
Experience with configuration management and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Ansible/Terraform/Packer)
Experience with monitoring/observability systems: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki etc
Strong scripting skills (Python and/or Bash)
Strong experience with Linux/Unix administration (Ubuntu preferred)
Team player with strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to multi-task and quickly react to system/service issues
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
Preferred
Experience with object storage systems
Experience with security scanning and compliance tools
Experience with network devices (Firewall, switch, load balancer, etc.)
