Inside Technical Sales / Project Manager - Spokane, WA
PureModern is a family-owned manufacturer and distributor of custom commercial and residential planters and site furnishings. They are seeking an experienced professional for an inside technical sales and project management role, responsible for managing projects internally while serving as the primary point of contact for customers and internal teams.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
Lead consultative sales and project review conversations with landscape architects, contractors, and developers
Translate client objectives into practical, value-engineered product solutions
Clearly communicate pricing, assumptions, lead times, and scope boundaries
Proactively follow up on quotes, active projects, and completed installations
Read and interpret architectural and construction drawings, details, and specifications
Review product takeoffs for accuracy from plans and bid sets
Prepare detailed quotes and proposals in coordination with vendors and fabrication partners
Manage submittal packages, including specifications and shop drawings
Track revisions, scope changes, and approvals with precision
Manage multiple projects concurrently with a high level of organization
Coordinate internally with fabrication teams, vendors, and suppliers
Own internal project schedules, deliverables, and commitments from order through delivery
Identify risks early and proactively resolve issues before they escalate
Ensure all changes are documented, approved, and accurately reflected in orders
Maintain complete and accurate project records
Collaborate with the ownership team on process improvement and growth initiatives
Proactively request and collect completed project photography from clients
Help refine and document sales and project management procedures
Qualification
Required
Experience working with construction projects (commercial preferred)
Proven technical or consultative inside sales experience
Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings
Strong understanding of scopes, sequencing, and construction workflows
High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Clear, confident, and professional communication style
Strong problem-solving mindset and ownership mentality
Proficiency with Google Workspace, CRMs, various cloud-based software tools, and quoting tools
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Preferred
Degree in Construction Management or a related field
Experience working with landscape architects, general contractors, landscape contractors, or specialty subcontractors
Familiarity with submittals, RFIs, and change management
Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM/quoting systems
