Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures for patients and physicians
Manage the surgical schedule to optimize efficiency and patient flow
Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare staff to ensure seamless scheduling and patient care
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to surgical scheduling
Assist in the preparation of surgical cases and ensure all necessary information is available prior to the procedure
Qualification
Required
Experience in scheduling or administrative roles in a healthcare setting
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in using scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Knowledge of medical terminology
Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
