Responsibilities
Manage and lead the production engineering staff to improve the Quality, Affordability and Availability of D&W products
Drive continuous improvement of the D&W Quality Program
Oversee the new product development process
Promote development and validation of new salvage procedures
Oversee the development and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures, bills of materials and test procedures
Oversee the documentation and implementation of the warranty system
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required in engineering or relevant technical discipline
Previous experience managing or leading engineering teams
Strong project management and organization skills
Demonstrated understanding of business metrics to drive performance
Ability to develop and provide solutions to technical challenges
Experience in process development and continuous improvement
Preferred
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles a plus
