Responsibilities
Technical evaluations of supplier proposals
Coordinating production program management efforts
Developing and implementing production strategies
Conducting trend analysis to identify and mitigate risks
Actively engage with prime contractors through Integrated Project Teams (IPTs)
Production Readiness Reviews (PRRs)
Failure Review Boards (FRBs)
Evaluate engineering changes
Review deliverables
Mentor other engineers
Qualification
Required
BS or BA degree
10 years' experience in defense manufacturing, reliability and/or industrial operations
Experience with proposal Technical Evaluations
Some travel
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
Preferred
Experience with defense system production planning
Experience with production proposal evaluation
Experience with Production Line Validations (PLV) and First Article Inspections (FAI)
