The successful candidate will apply knowledge of structural engineering principles and collaborate with senior staff to coordinate engineering work on various projects.

Responsibilities
Perform structural design and detailing tasks for small, medium, and large projects
Produce structural graphic models, plans, and details using REVIT. Coordinate modeling efforts with other design engineers and BIM modelers
Create building analysis models using RAM or RISA
Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and perform field observations
Qualification
Required
Ability to obtain Colorado Engineer Intern designation within six months of hire: Have the required combination of education and examination to obtain a Colorado EI designation within six months of hire
Structural steel and reinforced concrete coursework: Familiarity with structural steel and reinforced concrete design principles
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills
Collaboration: Successfully work within a team environment
Prioritize and Pivot: Produce high quality results while balancing multiple projects and deadlines
Initiative: Self-motivated to think ahead and proactively solve problems
Preferred
Foundation design and masonry design coursework: Familiarity with concrete foundation design principles and reinforced concrete masonry design principles
Software Utilization: Ability to produce structural plans and details in REVIT
