Backend Process Engineer

Responsibilities

Support the validation and optimization of electrical test procedures for capacitors as part of the overall manufacturing process flow
Assist in executing high‑reliability test protocols in accordance with customer and industry standards
Support lead‑attachment processes by monitoring lead‑bond quality and troubleshooting defects related to lead alignment, solder wetting, or mechanical integrity
Support the specification, installation, and maintenance of electrical test equipment and fixtures; monitor calibration status, equipment uptime, and basic capability metrics
Analyze production and test data to identify trends, potential failure modes, and process deviations; collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement corrective actions
Prepare and update process documentation, including work instructions, test procedures, and engineering reports, ensuring alignment with quality and regulatory requirements
Provide hands‑on support to technicians and operators, including training on procedures, equipment operation, troubleshooting, and safety practices

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in semiconductor or electronic manufacturing, preferably within MLCC or passive component production environments
Proficient in operating LCR meters, hipot testers, thermal chambers, and automated test systems; strong understanding of capacitor behavior, dielectric materials, and common failure mechanisms
Knowledge of high‑reliability test standards such as MIL‑PRF, AEC‑Q200, and ISO 9001; practical experience with SPC, data analysis tools, and root‑cause investigation methodologies
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate cross‑functionally
