Sr Analyst, IOC Policies, Procedures, and Compliance

American Airlines is looking for a Sr Analyst to join their IOC Planning & Support Team within the Integrated Operations Division. This role is responsible for the development and standardization of IOC procedures and policy documentation, ensuring compliance with FAA and company guidelines, and conducting training for continuous improvement of manual quality.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Manual Review Committee to ensure compliance of regulatory manuals. Additional oversight for non-regulatory manuals and operational playbooks
Support the IOC Policy, Procedures and Compliance efforts by ensuring standard documentation methods are followed. These documents must align with FAA and Company guidelines and established industry safety standards
Conduct training lessons for continuous improvement of manual quality
Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies and interdivisional coordination of safety communication and publications, validating operations manual interfaces
Maintain overall interdepartmental coordination and documentation including, Emergency Action Plan, Departmental Business Continuity Plans, etc
Work collaboratively with departments throughout the IOC and American Airlines to develop & implement safety, security, and resiliency plans, while ensuring appropriate processes and procedures are in place to support these plans
Develop and facilitate IOC and BRCC emergency drills and maintains plans to ensure readiness of workstations and equipment
Facilitate collaboration with city departments & first responders in the event the IOC and/or BRCC becomes uninhabitable
Oversee all aspects of assigned projects from original concept through final implementation
Utilize project management tools and techniques to achieve milestones in a timely manner
Conduct project meetings; completes project tracking/analysis reports; reports to management and business owners regarding project progress, issues, and risks
Identify barriers/solutions requiring management intervention

Required

Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
4 years job related experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Skills in facilitation and formal presentation
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and shift priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
Ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees within the organization from front-line employees to senior leadership
Ability to lead, direct, and manage during crisis situations
Ability to handle multiple assignments and complete projects on time

Preferred

Prior technical writing or manual coordinator/administrator experience
3-5 years prior Leadership experience
