This role involves direct interaction with study participants, coordination with pharmaceutical partners, and oversight of Research Assistants.

Responsibilities
Recruit and schedule study participants; assist with subject recruitment through chart reviews and outreach
Collect, process, and ship blood, urine, and stool specimens during patient visits
Perform phlebotomy and vital signs; conduct Fibroscans once trained
Enter and verify data in databases; maintain case report forms per FDA guidelines
Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation against patient medical records
Maintain regulatory files, temperature logs, and clinical supply inventory
Order and distribute dry ice; monitor expiration dates of clinical supplies
Assist with preparation of source documents and routine quality control checks
Notify referring physicians of patient participation when requested
Submit patient stipends/reimbursement requests following study visits
Provide general office support to ensure smooth operations
Supervise and support Research Assistants
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required (or four years of relevant clinical research experience in lieu of degree)
Minimum two years of experience in a healthcare or clinical research role
Prior experience in clinical trials required
Phlebotomy experience required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of EMR systems required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals
Self-starter with demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and willingness to assist colleagues
Preferred
Pharmaceutical trial experience preferred
