Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and scale internal tools and proprietary platforms that support automation, data workflows, and email delivery operations
Work across a modern stack: Python/Django, TypeScript, SQL databases (Postgres), and cloud infrastructure (primarily GCP)
Collaborate closely with the existing engineering team and product manager to deliver against a shared product roadmap
Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and design planning
Contribute to cloud engineering initiatives including Kubernetes, serverless infrastructure, and scalable system design
Own end-to-end development of new internal features and improvements, ensuring reliability, performance, and thoughtful engineering standards
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience as a software engineer working within an engineering team
2+ years working in a major cloud environment (GCP preferred, AWS or Azure acceptable)
Strong experience with Python (Django is a plus) and TypeScript/JavaScript
Proficiency with SQL databases (Postgres ideal)
Familiarity with cloud engineering best practices (service deployments, IaC, CI/CD, containerization)
Experience with Kubernetes, distributed systems, or serverless technologies
Ability to think in terms of architecture, design patterns, and long-term maintainability
Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving team where responsibilities evolve
Preferred
Exposure to Go or additional backend languages is a plus
