Senior Technical / Scientific Recruiter (Part-Time)
RTA Consulting is a recruitment solutions provider for various sectors including biotech and engineering. They are seeking a Senior Technical / Scientific Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruiting, develop candidate pipelines, and enhance the candidate experience while working closely with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned searches, partnering with high-level stakeholders and hiring managers to meet hiring objectives
Execute creative and data-driven sourcing strategies to build diverse candidate pipelines, using advanced search techniques, networking, and the latest recruiting tools (we provide training and support to help you master these approaches)
Provide a world-class candidate experience, managing candidate pools and communications to position our clients as employers of choice and create candidate experiences that honor the client company values and employment brand
Troubleshoot searches and hiring challenges with Senior Talent Partners and client stakeholders, always seeking solutions and backing them up with data
Collaborate with RTA's internal team to innovate on sourcing, interview design, and process improvements
Maintain a growth mindset—continuously learning and adapting to new technologies, trends, and methodologies in recruiting and learning about the new and exciting industries our clients serve
Communicate proactively and responsively in a remote, service-based environment. Flexibility is offered with the expectation of reliability and clear communication
Manage your time effectively to hit well-defined and realistic expectations
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of full life-cycle recruiting experience, managing multiple roles simultaneously with multiple companies
Minimum 2 years' experience recruiting specialized professionals at the senior and director level (e.g. life sciences, engineering, robotics, software, data science, etc.)
Strong 'figureoutability' - The ability to independently learn and implement new tools, methods and technologies expeditiously and independently
Proven experience in becoming proficient with various ATS systems (Greenhouse, Workday, Lever, JazzHR, etc.), and the ability to quickly be proficient in other tools
A command of multi-step and AI driven sourcing tools. Experience with Gem is a plus but we'll train you if not
Strong self-management skills and ability to work independently while meeting defined, clearly communicated and realistic expectations communicated through ClickUp
Strong team player with a positive, winning attitude that inspires others
Availability to work during Monday-Friday during active project weeks, and conduct client and candidate meetings during business hours (9-5 PT), with occasional flexibility for candidate availability outside standard hours
Must be authorized to permanently work in the United States
Preferred
Experience as an in-house or corporate talent partner, or the desire and aptitude to step into this role
