Responsibilities
Collaboratively and effectively work within a team setting to serve OHM Advisors’ core mission of Advancing Communities
Gain foundational understandings of engineering principles, industry standards, and design procedures to support sound decision-making for tasks
Prepare base engineering plans for our Municipal and Transportation teams using AutoCAD Civil 3D 2025
Create proposed roadway, path or public utility design elements using Civil 3D and under the direction of a project engineer
Occasionally perform site visits to verify existing conditions
Monitor drawing sets for standards conformation
Complete redline markups from project team
Participate in team meetings and webinars to learn and provide input on process improvements
Plan and organize the scheduling of specific tasks and assignments to ensure timely completion
Dedicate time to continuing education and further developing skillsets through specialty training, conference attendance, professional organizations, etc
Qualification
Required
Associates degree or higher is a plus though not required
AutoCAD Civil 3D required
MicroStation and/or GIS experience a plus
