Teaching Assistant Professor - Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering
West Virginia University is seeking a Teaching Assistant Professor in the field of Computer Science and Cybersecurity. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, curriculum development, and providing hands-on lab support to students.

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Computer Science and Cybersecurity
Develop curriculum for in-class and online learning management systems
Provide hands-on lab support including virtual machines and secure network setups
Engage in research and collaborate with industry partners and other collaborators
Participate in departmental and university service activities
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. degree in computer science, cybersecurity or a closely related field by the time of hire
Outstanding technical expertise
Proven, ongoing track record of teaching experience or potential to develop graduate level courses for in-class and online learning management systems (LMS) platforms such as Blackboard and Coursera
Expertise in hands-on lab support, including virtual machines, sandbox environments, cyber-range, simulation tools, and secure network setups to provide students with practical experience
Preferred
Equivalent experience in the private sector or national laboratories/institutes
