Memory Care Activities Coordinator - Full Time - *Sign On Bonus*

They are seeking a compassionate and creative Memory Care Activities Coordinator to plan and lead engaging activities for residents in their Memory Support community, promoting holistic well-being and meaningful engagement.

Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and lead engaging Memory Support activities promoting the seven dimensions of wellness (physical, intellectual, social, spiritual, emotional, environmental, vocational)
Implement Montessori-based programming for residents with dementia and cognitive impairments
Coordinate and deliver activities during weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Personalize activity programming based on resident needs, interests, and input from families
Support new resident orientation and ensure a smooth transition into the household
Understand Montessori approach and assume leadership role in teaching, coaching, and modeling approach
Manage inventory of activity supplies and track monthly budget spending
Drive the community bus for resident outings and serve as backup driver as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in Human Services, Social Science, Behavioral Science, or other related field
Certified Dementia Practitioner credential, or similar credential in dementia care
At least 2 years' experience in activities in a Memory Support community
Valid South Carolina driver's license
