Director of Sales - ISP Networks

Responsibilities

Target and identify ISP network sales prospects and opportunities
Develop and/or assist in the design of the networks for opportunities with direct customers and/or partner/channel VAR organizations to win the business with the customer
Assist in the estimation and pricing of the networks and collaborate on the strategies needed to win new business
Develop and/or assist in the writing of Scopes of Work, bid responses, implementation plans, and other plans pertinent to the successful deployment, and full implementation of the ISP network solutions, including managing purchasing logistics and change orders
Assist the Operations team with implementation of the various project plans on the ISP network projects including staffing requirements, specific personnel assigned to the project, and supplemental personnel as needed on an ongoing basis on the specific projects
Assist the field project managers on all ISP network implementations to maintain the optimum team of technicians to deliver the projects on time and on budget
Follow up jointly with the Operations team, and/or business partner to ensure customer satisfaction after completion of the project and ensure Comm-Tract is well positioned for the next sale to the end customer
Directly work with Comm-Tract’s ordering, and logistics departments to ensure accurate ordering and delivery of materials specific to the projects including tools, and other items needed for successful completion of the project
Attend Operational meetings as needed to ensure communication of major aspects of projects under implementation
Ensure all technicians on the project(s) maintain all necessary certifications for selected manufacturers, licensing for selected states, and participate in required training as offered

Required

Must have 10-15 years extensive ISP networking experience
Must have worked in fiber deployment in ISP environments
OSP experience also considered desirable
5 plus years of sales and/or leadership positions in a technical communications infrastructure environment
Strong technical knowledge and estimating skills in ISP Networks design and pricing of installations
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively work with technical personnel, and work with non-technical personnel in back office
Technical aptitude characterized by the ability to understand technical concepts, technical equipment configurations, and/or network switching layer experience
Customer focused with high professional standards
Energetic and highly motivated with strong work ethic
Poised and highly communicative – comes across as an experienced, confident, credible professional
Focused and results oriented
Process-oriented and highly organized
Collaborative and team player
Strong attention to detail and ability to pursue and close multiple projects

Preferred

BA/EE Preferred, but not required
Small company experience
Entrepreneurial or Start-up company experience

Benefits

Annual Bonus to paid in accordance with the current Comm-Tract bonus plan for this position.
Bonus to be directly proportional to the success of the ISP Division of the company.
