Responsibilities

Lead the growth, innovation, project delivery and client success for M&N’s stormwater/water resource business in the Northern Virginia / Northeast markets while working as a team with current regional and national water practice leads
Dynamically manage/mentor a team of technical practitioners and mid-level “seller-doers”
Develop new client relationships and enhance existing ones
Oversee delivery of stormwater/water resources projects of the highest quality for our clients
Identify personnel to recruit to help capture and deliver projects for these market sectors
Attract the best industry talent by fostering a work environment that is collaborative, inclusive, and diverse and invites broad, creative thinking to craft a more attractive place to work, grow and thrive
Draw upon the firm’s geographic reach and market sector penetration to grow the water practice
Deploy our unique expertise and perspective to create new value for clients and provide civic and industry leadership within the local geographic market

Qualification

Civil EngineeringWater Resources EngineeringProfessional Engineering LicenseStormwater ManagementClient ServiceLeadership SkillsCommunication Skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Water Resources Engineering; required
Professional Engineering License (PE) in Virginia or ability to receive via reciprocity with in 6 months; required
20+ years of professional experience related to water resources or stormwater engineering; required
Strong client and project delivery experience in the Stormwater/Water Resources market sector

Preferred

Master's degree in Civil or Water Resources Engineering; preferred
State/Local Municipal experience preferred
Understanding of the appropriate regional stormwater/water resources market, including FEMA flood hazard mitigation/funding, conveyance systems, resilience planning, stormwater management as well as other industry trends, drivers, and clients
