Responsibilities
Assist departments on various administrative projects such as organizing electronic and hard copy records and documents and assisting with literature reference searches
Assist with research and coordination for digital engagement initiatives
Support cross functional projects to improve patient and caregiver access to resources
Support research and analysis related to emerging health technologies
Support clinical trial design, setup and execution
You will contribute to a variety of projects aligned with both your interests and organizational priorities, including:
Translate business questions into analytical techniques (regression, classification, NLP, etc.) and interpret the outcomes of analytical models into meaningful business insights and actionable recommendations
Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques and concepts (model selection, hypothesis testing, statistical inference, etc.) based on real-world application experience
Assist in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis
Present key insights, models, and analytical tools to senior leadership, turning complex data into actionable recommendations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including commercial analytics and other departments
Qualification
Required
Must be enrolled in a credited college or university at the time of the internship
Must be able to work onsite 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday) at our HQ office
Possesses a can-do attitude with the ability to multi-task and take on various projects at a time
Team player with a willingness to take direction
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Major in one of the following backgrounds: Data Science, Business Analytics, Life Sciences, or related field
Completed coursework in machine learning, data analytics and statistics
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets
Proficiency in Python, R, or MATLAB for data analysis and modeling
Experience with data visualization and statistical analysis
Preferred
Familiarity with using healthcare claims datasets, electronic health records, and specialty pharmacy data in real world evidence and patient level data and advanced analytics – preferably in patient unmet need and care / treatment gap identification, is a plus but not required
