CPGIO is seeking a Senior-level AI Engineer who thrives in modern, high-velocity development environments. This role involves building real-world applications end-to-end and optimizing performance while pushing their platform into the future of agentic commerce intelligence.

Responsibilities

Build and improve our internal task management dashboard and operator tooling
Create new features, refactor code, optimize performance, and improve UI/UX
Rapidly prototype and iterate on complex visualization concepts
Balance user feature requests with technical feasibility and maintainability
Design pragmatic, scalable event-driven architectures
Make build-vs-buy-vs-generate decisions for system components and services
Write detailed technical specs that other developers can execute cleanly
Prototype complex React components and data visualizations
Design and maintain database schemas, migrations, and ETL pipelines
Build proofs-of-concept and production deployments for AI / LLM integration
Implement unit and integration testing, ensuring reliability as the system scales
Manage large datasets, data modeling, database performance, and long-term maintainability

Required

AI-Assisted Engineering
Claude Code, Cursor, or comparable AI engineering workflows
Building real applications using 'vibe coding' style environments — but still clean, testable, scalable
Frontend: React
Frontend: Next.js
Frontend: TypeScript
Frontend: Complex UI systems and data visualization
Backend: Python (FastAPI and/or Django strongly preferred)
Backend: Node.js (nice-to-have)
Backend: REST APIs and/or GraphQL APIs
Data & Systems: Managing large datasets
Data & Systems: PostgreSQL (or strong relational DB experience)
Data & Systems: Database migrations + schema evolution
Data & Systems: ETL pipelines, transformations, and data integrity systems
Data & Systems: Cloud databases and production deployments
Quality: Unit testing and integration testing
Quality: Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and maintaining reliable systems

Preferred

LangChain / tool calling / agent frameworks
RAG systems and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, etc.)
Event sourcing and microservices
Real-time systems and stream processing
Strong design instincts for turning complexity into intuitive UI
