Responsibilities
Install and optimize hardware, software, and network products at customer sites
Diagnose and resolve performance issues
Perform routine maintenance and repairs
Provide guidance on preventive maintenance to minimize disruptions
Proactively address potential equipment issues to ensure uninterrupted operations
Complete administrative activities accurately and in a timely manner
Identify lead-generating opportunities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or master's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field
2+ years of experience in a similar role as a Field Service or Instrumentation Technician or as an end user of instrumentation such as Gas Chromatography or Mass Spectroscopy
Demonstrated problem-solving skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to travel up to 35-40% of the time throughout the territory, which could include overnight stays
Meet Agilent-approved customer/vendor credentialing requirements necessary to gain site access, unless prohibited by law
The position requires an active driver's license
Preferred
Previous experience in instrumentation such as Atomic Absorption (AA), ICP-MS, and ICP-OES is a plus!
