Utilizing complex estate planning techniques handling sophisticated estate planning and wealth transfer matters including gift, estate, income tax, GST, charitable, and family business succession planning
Preparing estate and gift tax returns
Managing complex trust administration and probate matters from beginning to end with paralegal support
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an ABA-approved law school
Admitted to practice law in Illinois and in good standing with the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission
7+ years of experience as a trusts and estates attorney with the experience outlined above
Excellent analytical and writing skills
Excellent technological and organizational skills
Superior oral and written communication skills
Excellent proofreading skills
Ability to produce accurate work product with a high attention to detail
Self-starter who is comfortable simultaneously managing multiple tasks
Excellent to superb time management skills and ability to adjust to changing project priorities in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
The ability to function both independently and within a collaborative environment
