Review, analyze, underwrite and negotiate coverage for new and renewal business accounts nationally

Evaluate Accounts, apply terms and price selection

Underwrite within established program guidelines and or underwriting authority

Document files that reflect a solid thought process and decision making through comprehensive account reviews, sign-offs, and referrals

Qualification

Required

5+ years experience

5+ years of multi-line MPL underwriting experience

Solid analytical skills and experience qualifying risks

Understanding of insurance terms and the application questions

A strong work ethic, well-organized, and self-motivated along with ability to work with minimal supervision

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet aggressive goals

Have a Customer-oriented mindset, with strong broker relationships, and commitment to accountability

Be Team-player attitude and entrepreneurial spirit

Preferred

Four-year college degree preferred

Proficiency in MS Office including Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel
