Responsibilities
Bachelor's degree or higher in a technology related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required, Masters' degree a plus
7-8+ years of hands-on experience deploying and/or supporting highly distributed multi-tiered systems at scale
Highly experienced managing technology environment stability and availability
Knowledge of ITIL practices
Demonstrated expertise of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and principles
Experience with Agile software development methodologies, delivery projects, and implementation
Knowledge of basic networking (ping, traceroute, DNS)
Hands on experience with search and analytics engines (Splunk, DataDog...)
Hands on experience with Linux/UNIX and Windows operating systems
Experience with workflow design, data analysis, and requirements identification/specification
Experience with cloud-based technologies including SaaS solutions in the cloud and AWS/AZURE
Hands-on experience with container orchestration, preferably with Kubernetes
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and associated technologies
Experience with PowerShell and Python scripting
Production support experience with financial systems
Demonstrated creative and abstract thinking
Ability to triage, complete root cause analysis, and be decisive under pressure
Experience of docker, cloud-computing / cloud services platforms (e.g., AWS or Azure)
AWS Certification a plus
