Responsibilities
Operates telephone and paging system
Answers incoming calls, greeting the caller, identifying yourself, providing information, transferring callers and/or taking messages as necessary and respond to inquiries aimed at clinic services and procedures
Transfer telephone calls to intended recipients after screening them properly
Must know which staff are in which department and who is in charge of what function
Operates paging system to relay in-house announcements or call individuals to the phone
Create and maintain logs of incoming calls as directed
Assists with routine clerical duties when volume of calls permit
Compile, assemble, proofread and prepare data for records and reports
Drafts emails; proofreads and edits letters, memos, and other documents; operates copying and duplicating machines
Enter variety of data using current technology; prepare and sort documents for data entry
Qualification
Required
Possesses a current State of Michigan driver's license and valid automobile insurance
