Responsibilities

Support the Residuals team by tracking and reviewing production deliverables and establishing the appropriate affiliation by project
Support the distribution team by assisting with residual estimate calculations for SVOD, Theatrical, and Pay TV productions in worldwide active cycle
Update department trackers (run schedules) to align with the current production status of projects
Validate residual payments against greenlight and ultimate models
Create quarterly accrual planning summary
Work with the functional leaders and other finance partners to build scalable financial processes and business metrics
Test new system requirements and work with the tech team to remedy issues as they arise

Required

Bachelor's degree
5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
5+ years of identifying and implementing opportunities to resolve finance issues, improve, scale, or simplify finance tools, technology, and processes across teams and organizations experience
Experience dealing with major unions, guilds, contractual terms and deal structures in the entertainment industry
Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
Knowledge of compensation compliance with state and federal laws

Preferred

5+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
Experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan
Experience communicating results to senior leadership
Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
