Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between customer service, manufacturing, and distribution center management by communicating as needed with the team and internal customers regarding order specifications
Continually educate yourself on new or improved Herff Jones business systems. Seek out alternative processes and improvements to all job functions
Monitor scheduled dates to assure work is completed by the scheduled dates
Participate in cross-training in other departments as needed
Prepare work tickets for manufacturing. This may include creation of box labels to properly identify products
Create and maintain spreadsheets as needed for data collection
Report scheduling conflicts to Production Control Supervisor when they cannot be resolved
Perform routine transactions utilizing the Herff Jones manufacturing business system. Examples of items are inventory adjustments, process movements, job creation, job completions, and job tracking
Other responsibilities as needed and assigned related to the Herff Jones business
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Previous success in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
Demonstrated success in going above and beyond to help the team achieve a goal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
