Agent in Training - Farmers Insurance

Farmers Insurance is seeking a driven and goal-focused Agent in Training to join their top-performing agency. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business, conducting client consultations, and selling insurance products while promoting a supportive team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Generating new business by identifying and reaching out to prospects, and converting leads into policies
Conducting client consultations to evaluate insurance needs and provide appropriate solutions
Selling and cross-selling insurance products such as Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial lines
Building and sustaining strong client relationships through ongoing support and regular policy reviews
Meeting and surpassing personal sales goals to help drive agency growth
Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge and ensuring compliance
Utilizing CRM systems to manage leads, follow-up activities, and policy renewals
Participating in team meetings and collaborative sales strategy sessions

Required

Prior sales experience or show a consistent ability to achieve targets
Strong communication skills
Results-oriented approach
Passion for helping clients protect their most important assets
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Confidence in making outbound calls and closing sales
Willingness to learn and take coaching
Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred

At least 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, or insurance
Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license (preferred, or willingness to obtain)
Bilingual skills (a plus)
