Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc
Create CNC programming for new processes and improvement of current processes
Prepare perishable tooling for new processes
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet quality standards
Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they operate efficiently
Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize machining processes
Diagnose and resolve machine malfunctions or programming errors to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production
Maintain appropriate documentation of setups, tool changes, and adjustments made during the production process
Qualification
Required
Experience in CNC machining
Strong mechanical aptitude
Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc
Create CNC programming for new processes and improvement of current processes
Prepare perishable tooling for new processes
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet quality standards
Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they operate efficiently
Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize machining processes

Proficiency in CAD software for programming CNC machines
Ability to assemble and use lathe machines
Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of bore gauges
Familiarity with Mazatrol and Fanuc controls
Proficient in using hand tools for machine setup and maintenance
