Associate Systems Integration Engineer

The Associate Systems Integration Engineer will integrate, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain the OTTAVA Robotic System, collaborating with various engineering teams to enhance medical technologies and improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
Technical expert for setting up, operating, maintaining, and debugging the system in clinical labs
Document issues that arise in clinical labs, and resolve by working across hardware, electrical, and software teams
Troubleshoot and repair issues that commonly arise across the R&D system fleet
Work with software engineers to understand and modify existing code
Work with mechanical or electrical engineers to upgrade hardware components
Maintain the configuration and records of all systems used for development and verification
Qualification
Required
BS Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Software) with 1+ year of industry experience is required
Fundamental understanding across software, controls, robotics, mechanical, and electrical engineering, with ability to quickly come up to speed in new technical areas is required
Experience partitioning and decomposing sophisticated engineering problems into solvable problems is essential
Understanding of engineering concepts such as system architecture, implementation, testing, and maintenance is required
Ability to understand and modify existing code (for example, C++ or python) is required
Hands-on experience with electromechanical or robotic systems is required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are critical
The ability and willingness to manage up to 10% travel in the US is required
