Responsibilities
Build and maintain weekly and monthly KPI reports (case volume, settlement values, conversion rates, cycle times, revenue per case, etc.)
Analyze performance across departments (Intake, Pre-Lit, Litigation, Marketing, Medical Records, Case Management)
Track attorney productivity, case manager efficiency, and department-level metrics
Create executive dashboards using Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance tracking
Analyze marketing ROI (lead sources, cost per signed case, cost per settlement dollar)
Identify profitability trends by case type, attorney, and referral source
Support settlement pipeline forecasting and revenue projections
Identify workflow inefficiencies and propose process improvements
Support special projects related to growth, staffing models, and technology improvements
Help prepare materials for leadership meetings (reports, decks, summaries)
Conduct ad hoc analysis requests from executive leadership
Prepare clean summaries of complex data for partners and leadership
Build PowerPoint presentations for internal reviews and strategy sessions
Research industry benchmarks and best practices in legal operations
Assist with implementation of new tools, systems, or processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, lookups)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information professionally
Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities
Preferred
Experience working in a law firm, professional services, or operations-heavy environment
Experience with case management systems (Filevine, Clio, SmartAdvocate, Needles, etc.)
Experience with dashboards or BI tools (DOMO, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
Familiarity with KPIs related to legal operations or sales funnels
Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, advanced formulas, basic modeling)
Experience in data engineering is preferred
