Responsibilities

Support the design, implementation, and testing of digital models, simulation frameworks, and analysis tools for various government programs, commercial industry partnerships, and internal research and development efforts

Develop an understanding of the modeling & simulation pyramid and how the different levels are connected

Gain real-world experience and help solve challenging problems

Witness and contribute to the most advanced digital simulation tools that are being used to inform decisions at the highest level of the DoD

Required

Current enrollment in a 4+ year STEM degree program

Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and a passion for learning and improving your skills

Be familiar with object-oriented programming principles and associated languages (e.g., C++, Python)

Welcome the use of advanced mathematics combined with software development

Be comfortable as a domain visitor, able to comprehend the operations/performance of complex systems at a semi-technical level

US Citizenship is required for consideration, as this job requires the ability to obtain a US government security clearance

Must be able to remain in a stationary position and work on a computer for prolonged periods

Preferred

Preferred majors: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics

Nice to have – Secret level clearance

Acceptable - No current clearance but eligibility to obtain
