Responsibilities
Partner with the CEO to develop and execute long-term strategic initiatives for the health center
Direct and coordinate daily operations for medical and behavioral health services across multiple locations
Ensure smooth patient flow and efficient resource utilization to meet and exceed clinic goals
Lead cross-functional teams and delegate tasks effectively to achieve operational excellence
Manage departmental budgets and allocate resources effectively to ensure financial sustainability
Work with finance and revenue cycle teams to address billing and collections
Develop performance dashboards and scorecards to track key metrics and drive accountability
Ensure strict adherence to all FQHC-specific standards and federal, state, and local regulations
Maintain operational readiness for all audits and inspections
In conjunction with the CQO, monitor quality assurance measures and process improvement initiatives
Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and support staff retention and training efforts
Manage provider and staff schedules to balance productivity with patient experience
Oversee the resolution of patient concerns and develop programs to improve overall satisfaction
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare operations
At least 5 years of experience in a leadership or management role
Deep understanding of healthcare delivery models and financial acumen
Preferred
Proven success managing operations specifically within an FQHC environment
Experience with federal and state funding mechanisms and compliance standards
Advanced proficiency in healthcare technology and EMR systems
