Responsibilities

Leads and oversees the California State Public Hospital Redesign and Incentives in Medi-Cal (PRIME) program at UC Irvine Health
Acquires resources and coordinates the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan
May assist leadership with streamlining existing project processes, procedures and guidelines
May mentor junior-level Project Managers

Required

Strong interpersonal skills
Proven skills in managing large and complex projects
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Minimum 7 years healthcare experience as MD, RN, RD, PharmD or other relevant clinical discipline
Minimum 3 years of project management experience in a Healthcare environment
Exceptional skills in report writing and making technical presentations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple fast-paced technical projects
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem solving capabilities

Preferred

Prior experience and/or technical knowledge of the Eclipsys Foundation Application (SCM) or Epic Electronic Health Record application system
Previous leadership experience in the management of complex healthcare programs
PMI or PMP Certification or current progress toward PMI or PMP Certification
Master's Degree
Knowledge of compliance/regulatory standards
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
Experience with the California state Public Hospital Redesign and Incentives in Medi-Cal (PRIME) program
Experience with LEAN/Six Sigma approaches
Demonstrated proficiency with use of Microsoft Project
Business Intelligence (BI) tools experience
