Myticas Consulting is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Lead to support a major enterprise client on-site in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this high-visibility contract role, you will own test strategy, planning, and coordination for complex, multi-team software initiatives.

Responsibilities

Own and drive test strategy, test plans, timelines, and overall test coordination across multiple project teams
Coordinate creation of test scenarios, test cases, and test data, ensuring readiness for execution
Lead and facilitate day-to-day test execution across teams, tracking progress and removing blockers
Manage the full defect lifecycle: logging, triage, assignment, follow-up, and re-testing to confirm fixes
Produce test reports and dashboards that provide clear quality metrics, analysis, and status to stakeholders
Align team-level testing with overall program testing requirements and milestones
Partner with automation specialists by providing manual test scripts, test data, and inputs for automated coverage
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve testing standards, practices, and processes

Required

Must be able to work on-site in Grand Rapids, Michigan, US, within a reasonable commuting distance
At least 5 years of software quality assurance experience, including a minimum of 3 years leading software testing projects
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a closely related field
Demonstrated experience owning test strategy, test planning, and cross-team test coordination for complex software projects in an Agile/SCRUM environment, applying QA best practices
Hands-on experience testing web and/or SAP applications using modern test management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps or similar
Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship

Preferred

Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) for test case management, execution tracking, and defect management
Experience testing SAP solutions in large or global enterprise environments
Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar IT service management platforms
Understanding of programming languages such as Java, C, or .NET to collaborate effectively with development teams
Strong leadership, project management, communication, and cross-team coordination skills, with a proven ability to quickly understand business processes and lead testing efforts
