Research Data Analyst 1 RP

They are seeking a motivated Research Data Analyst I to assist in a translational research program focused on oral, dental, and craniofacial research, supporting ongoing projects through data analysis and communication of findings.

Responsibilities
Assist in a translational research program focused on expanding oral, dental, and craniofacial research
Support ongoing research projects by assisting with the execution of experiments and processing, organization, and analysis of data
Provide support with sharing/communicating findings in presentations and publications, under close supervision of the Principal Investigator and senior researchers/mentoring team
Qualification
Required
Exposure to analysis of sequencing, single cell sequencing, or multi-omics datasets, with willingness to learn and apply new analytical methods; especially data related to oral, dental, craniofacial s
Interest in developing skills in biological or biomedical data analysis; especially data related to oral, dental, craniofacial sciences
Familiarity with oral, dental craniofacial sciences
Basic knowledge of, or experience using computational tools
Basic experience in one or more of the following: Python, R, SQL, or Bash
Interest in learning bioinformatics and data analysis methods
Introductory knowledge in sequencing (WGS, BS-seq, scRNA-seq, ATAC-seq, RNA-seq, or CITE-seq)
Ability to learn to integrate, analyze, and visualize biological datasets under supervision
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to follow established research protocols
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently on assigned tasks and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Bachelor's Degree Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Oral Biology, Molecular/Cell Biology, or related field
Preferred
Master's Degree Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Oral Biology, Molecular/Cell Biology, or related field
PhD Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Oral Biology, Molecular/Cell Biology, or related field
