Responsibilities

Read and interpret work instructions, schematics, wire lists, and engineering drawings
Manufacture cable and harness assemblies in accordance with documented procedures and quality requirements
Inspect hardware for quality and completeness at a moderate level of complexity
Verify material identification and maintain full traceability throughout fabrication and testing processes
Ensure materials are labeled, handled, and stored in accordance with engineering and planning requirements
Follow established procedures, shop practices, and ISO guidelines
Identify and communicate inconsistencies, deviations, or safety concerns to appropriate personnel
Support lab fabrication efforts and related processes in a collaborative, team-based environment
Provide regular status updates to shop leads and work center management

Required

Active Department of Defense Secret clearance
High School Diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of additional education and/or related experience
Ability to read and interpret engineering work instructions and schematics
Ability to perform repetitive tasks and moderate physical activities, including lifting items up to 50 lbs
Ability to obtain Special Access Program approval within a reasonable timeframe as required to meet business needs

Preferred

High School Diploma or equivalent plus 4 years of additional education and/or related experience
Technical degree or some college coursework completed
Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, electronics testing, and electronics evaluation
