This leadership role involves managing a team of technicians and performing hands-on technical work including cabling and server maintenance.

Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate a team of network technicians in daily operations and project execution
Assign and track work orders, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards
Maintain accurate and detailed Time on Task and performance reporting for team activities
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and issue resolution
Install, terminate, and test fiber optic and copper cabling to support data center connectivity
Perform break/fix troubleshooting and repairs on servers, network hardware, and related infrastructure
Ensure compliance with data center policies, safety standards, and best practices
Maintain documentation of network layouts, cabling diagrams, and incident reports
Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians
Qualification
Required
Proven leadership experience in a technical environment
Strong knowledge of fiber and copper cabling standards and installation practices
Hands-on experience with server hardware maintenance and troubleshooting
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in documenting tasks, generating reports, and using ticketing systems
Preferred
Industry certifications such as BICSI, CompTIA Network+, or Cisco CCNA
Experience with structured cabling systems and data center best practices
Familiarity with ITIL or similar service management frameworks
